TBMT Gets a Good Reflection

Yesterday, we had the Scarborough Mirror come out and take a look at what our Borough Most Thorough program had to offer. It is clear to see that these urban music workshops are building this much momentum in the community. But then again, was that ever questioned? The youth in our Scarborough neighbourhoods are so talented and awesome, so we should me thanking you! You have given The Borough Most Thorough a good reflection! (Haha, get it? I’m so punny!)

Make sure you come out to the Subtext Festival as well! The Scarborough Mirror will be around for that too! If you haven’t heard yet, check out the info below!

Where: The Lawrence Avenue Bridge which separates Orton Park and Galloway, everything will be under the bridge!

What’s Going on: We’re taking a place with a bad reputation, cleaning it up and beautifying it then we’re going to have a Scarborough party celebrating all the types of arts – Music, Dancing, Graffiti-ing, you name it!

When: Saturday, September 11 – Sunday, September 12 – BUT! The TBMT Launch Party will occur from 11AM to 1PM on the Saturday. Come in a bit early to check out the venue and meet with everyone involved in this awesome workshop!

Who: YOU!!!! Everyone! Bring friends, bring your fam! Heck, even bring your camp! It’s an event to be enjoyed by all!

Extra Info: If you live around the area, you will want to commute down. That will be the easiest method of transport that day. But, if you are taking your car, there is a plaza just down the road. If may take you between 5-10 minutes to walk over to the site from the parking pad.

If there are still more questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me! You can reach me by emailing: tbmt@scarborougharts.com or give me a call at: 416-698-7322
