Brittany Chan practices her second song "The Triple Threat" during TBMT's 5th week at the Pro-Tech Media Lab.

Today is the last day of The Borough Most Thorough’s Week 5 at the Pro-Tech Media Lab. As you may already know, on this day, our sound engineer Future comes in to record the tracks. This week will be no different. We have two tracks this week: Pickles and The Triple Threat. Great job this week Aretina and Brittany. This is the fastest we have seen two songs by the same artists be pushed out.

I have a couple people who got into contact with me for next week’s program at ACSA. There are still a couple spots open, so make good use of your weekend and register. Or, take a chance and just come out on Monday. We will be holding it at 2821 Birchmount Avenue, Unit 114. It’s just a bit south of Finch on the east side. Everyone is so excited for the final week so we could hear all of the tracks. It’s a little early but thank you to all of those people who made this program happen this year and thank you to the youth who came out.

For now, check out some pictures from Pro-Tech or check out the other locations we’ve been to. See you in the recording booth!

We now have testimonials up on the blog! We have taken your feedback into deep consideration for the continuous improvement and development of our Borough Most Thorough program. Thank you for sharing your ideas and thoughts with us and please continue to do so!

Also, it seems like with have our TBMT CD opener! Thank you Aretina and Brittany, who participated in week 5: TBMT @ Pro-Tech Media Lab. It is about time that someone did a song about TBMT!

The Borough Most Thorough at Pro-Tech Media Lab: Brittany and Tina from week 5 get some lyrical advice from the TBMT gang.

Welcome to our second last week of The Borough Most Thorough 2010. Week 5 is taking place at the Pro-Tech Media Lab which is right next to the Toronto Public Library – Kennedy-Eglinton Branch. This week is different from other weeks because we have got a smaller group. But that is not a bad thing, especially for these music lovers! This means more one-on-one time with our rap instructor Dan-e-o, our program assistant Terina, and me, your program coordinator!

If you are interested in writing a song and recording this week, don’t be shy. Come on out and join us! We also have some spaces available for next week, which is with ACSA: Agincourt Community Services Association. If you would like to register for any of these locations, please give me a call at 416-698-7322 or email me at
